Compatibility checker input

The Change Radar checker searches a copy of the compatibility registry bundled with this website. Text you type or paste into the checker is processed in your browser. The application does not upload, save, or retain that input, and the checker does not scan your repository.

If you put a search term in a shareable /checker?q= URL, that term becomes part of the URL. It can then appear in browser history, referrer information, and routine hosting logs. Do not place secrets, API keys, personal data, or proprietary code in a URL.

Accounts and submissions

The site does not currently offer user accounts, comments, uploads, or saved searches. We do not sell personal information.

Local preferences

If you change the color theme, the site stores the value themein your browser's local storage. It remains on your device until you clear site data. See the Cookie Policy for the distinction between local storage and cookies.

Hosting and security data

Like most websites, the hosting and network infrastructure used to deliver and protect the site may process routine connection data such as an IP address, request URL, timestamp, browser user agent, and security events. Retention and access depend on the active hosting configuration and service provider.

Links to provider documentation

Change records link to third-party documentation operated by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and other providers. When you follow one of those links, that provider receives the normal information associated with a web request and applies its own privacy policy.
